Clutch Kits
A clutch kit is a complete set of components used in manual transmission vehicles to engage and disengage power between the engine and gearbox. It typically includes the clutch disc, pressure plate, and release bearing. The clutch system allows the driver to change gears smoothly by temporarily disconnecting engine power. When the clutch pedal is pressed, the clutch disc disengages from the flywheel, allowing gear changes without damaging the transmission. Over time, clutch components wear out due to friction and heat. A worn clutch can lead to slipping, poor acceleration, and difficulty shifting gears, making replacement necessary for optimal performance.
