The Jaguar XK is modeled in the classic grand touring (or GT) style – a two-door four-seater with a comfortable ride, sharp handling, and a powerful engine. While the XK convertible and coupe deliver on all three fronts, it’s not enough to elevate this Jag from the back of its competitive class. The XK is held back by refinement issues. Its slim rear seats are almost unusable, and the touch screen is sluggish and has poor graphics.The 2015 Jaguar XK has a 5.0-liter V8 engine with 385 horsepower. Two supercharged models are also available: the XKR (510 horsepower) and the XKR-S (550 horsepower). A six-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive are standard. All XKs get up to speed quickly and offer muscular passing power. The XKR-S is the raciest of the bunch, zooming from zero to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds and to a top speed of 186 mph. The XK’s automatic does a fine job most of the time, though it can occasionally hesitate to downshift. The transmission can also be shifted manually using shift paddles located behind the steering wheel.It's affordable
