<p>The 2019 Jaguar XJ offers potent engine choices and pleasing handling, but it trails the competition in interior luxury, passenger space, and infotainment usability.The 2019 Jaguar XJ comes in six main trims that are spread across two body styles: regular and long-wheelbase. There are three engine options, and both rear- and all-wheel drive are available. All models feature an eight-speed automatic transmission.<br />Most shoppers should be satisfied with the base model. The entry level XJ comes with a long list of standard infotainment and active safety technology, as well as comforts such as leather upholstery and heated and ventilated front seats. The 2019 Jaguar XJ R-Sport comes standard with a 340-horsepower supercharged V6 engine and rear- or all-wheel drive. Standard features include leather upholstery, a panoramic roof, eight-way power-adjustable front seats, ventilated and heated front and rear seats, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10-inch touch-screen infotainment system with satellite radio, HD Radio, an 18-speaker Meridian surround-sound stereo, navigation, Bluetooth, and a Wi-Fi hot spot. Standard driver assistance features in the XJ R-Sport include full LED adaptive headlights, automatic high-beam headlights, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, traffic sign recognition, automatic speed limiting, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, a rearview camera, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. The XJ R-Sport also comes standard with alloy wheels, proximity keyless entry, soft-closing doors, dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a universal garage door opener, a leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel, driver's seat memory settings, and a power trunk.</p>
