CTS 2017

The 2017 Cadillac CTS has precise steering and agile handling. However, it sits in the bottom third of our rankings because of an underpowered base engine, a tight passenger area, and a somewhat small cargo space for the luxury midsize car class. The 2017 Cadillac CTS is a solid luxury midsize car that boasts outstanding handling, great safety ratings, and a powerful engine lineup. The 2017 Cadillac CTS comes in six trims: CTS, Luxury, Premium Luxury, V-Sport, V-Sport Premium Luxury, and CTS-V. The base CTS is well-equipped, with dual-zone automatic climate control, leatherette upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, an 11-speaker Bose audio system, satellite radio, HD Radio, Bluetooth, an 8-inch touch-screen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, a Wi-Fi hot spot, wireless mobile device charging, remote start, and push-button start. However, it is available only with the underwhelming four-cylinder turbocharged engine.the Luxury trim is the better choice when it is equipped with the available 335-horsepower V6 engine. The Luxury trim adds leather upholstery, heated and cooled front seats, split-folding rear seats, a heated and power-adjustable steering wheel, a 13-speaker Bose surround-sound audio system, navigation, and a suite of active safety features. The Premium Luxury trim adds tri-zone automatic climate control, heated rear seats, adaptive suspension, and parallel and perpendicular park assist. The CTS V-Sport adds the twin-turbocharged V6 and performance brakes and suspension, a limited slip differential, and a high-capacity engine cooling system. The V-Sport Premium Luxury trim, available only in rear-wheel drive, is the same as the Premium Luxury trim but with the turbocharged V6. The CTS-V has the 640-horsepower supercharged V8, sport seats, and other performance enhancements.
