Mdx 2014

The 2014 Acura MDX provides solid performance, a comfortable interior, and excellent safety ratings in an affordable package. However, it suffers from a low reliability rating. The 2014 Acura MDX is a good all-around vehicle and a good car for families. It has ample power, a quality interior, and excellent safety ratings. The MDX features a 290-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The engine has ample power, and the MDX feels fairly quick driving around town. Front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is available. Both models get great gas mileage compared to other cars in the class; FWD models earn 20 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway and AWD models get 18 mpg in the city and 27 on the highway. The MDX delivers a nice blend of ride comfort and cornering ability, but the brake pedal feels a little spongy. The MDX seats seven and comes standard with leather upholstery. The front seats are heated and power-adjustable. While the front seats are pretty comfortable, both rear rows may be too low for some passengers' liking. And as with many 3-row SUVs, the third row is too small for most adults to get comfortable. The MDX has three full sets of LATCH connectors for installing car seats. All are in the second row, and the system is fairly easy to use overall.
The MDX's cabin is quiet. The design is simple and the materials are generally high-quality. All MDX models come with tri-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth, a USB port, an eight-speaker audio system, a touch screen, and a rearview camera. Top-tier models feature adaptive cruise control, navigation, and a 10-speaker audio system. The touch-screen system controls most features, and it’s intuitive and simple. There are few physical buttons.
