E-class 2020

The 2020 E-Class sedan earns 2019 Top Safety Pick + designation from the IIHS. It earns the top Good score in all crashworthiness evaluations. Its standard vehicle-to-vehicle automatic emergency braking system received the top Superior score, as it avoided collisions in both 12 mph and 25 mph tests. Its standard headlights with LED reflector high beams get an Acceptable ranking, the second highest, while the available upgraded headlights with LED projector high beams get a Good score. Wagon, coupe, and convertible variants of the 2020 E-Class have not been tested by the IIHS. As for the NHTSA, the safety organization gives the E-Class a five-star overall rating (out of a possible five stars).
